Contracts and Compliance Apprentice.
Job Description
To work as part of the Contracts and Compliance Team to provide effective support for essential compliance issues such as gas servicing, electrical inspections and fire risk assessments. To provide an effective customer focused services.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure customer contact is achieved within set timescales, including
- taking telephone calls and responding to e-mails/letters
- To process letters and provide standard written responses in line with the
- requirements of the Contracts & Compliance Team
- Produce accurate minutes of meetings
- Carry out effective filing of electrical inspections certificates & load onto
- Integrator
- To scan all electrical certs onto Smartdoc
- Deal with day to day repair enquiries received from the TCHG help desk
- Liaise with the lift & sewerage servicing contractors as necessary
- To participate in training, following identification of needs through a training
- needs analysis
- To ensure full compliance with the equality and diversity regulations
- To participate in customer engagement and feedback with a view to continuous improvement
- To liaise with other departments/staff/outside agencies as appropriate
- Updating spread sheets and load orders and invoices onto IPOS
- General support for the Contracts & Compliance Team

Prince’s Trust staff and volunteers will be on hand to support with individual future planning and job applications through 1:1 sessions, whilst workshops allow you to fine-tune your personal-branding, CV and interview skills. Bursaries and mentoring support are available for participants.

Get Started in Music (16-25)
Teaming up with The Irene Taylor Trust, join us for our Get Started with Music programme! Gain experience and learn new skills in song writing, music production and recording through practical workshops. During this programme you will work as a group alongside a musician to create a song. There is also an opportunity to gain an Bronze Arts Award.

Get Started with Construction (16-30)
Teaming up with ENGIE, join us for our Get Started with Construction programme! A free, one week virtual programme take part in daily sessions to help gain an insight into the construction industry. During the programme you will complete essential Health and Safety training. As well as gain support with your CV and interview skills. Understand what a day in the life of working in construction is really like.
Following the course you will be supported to gain your CSCS card and be provided with bursary support to help you with PPE and first months travel. Mentoring support also available for participants.

We hold 1-1 welcome sessions for young people who want to find out more information about The Prince’s Trust and our opportunities. Young people will receive a 1:1 call to discuss next steps, options, goal setting and progress onto our programmes or external organisations.

Explore Enterprise (18-30)
Do you have a business idea? or are you looking to start a business? We can help turn your big ideas into a reality. Over four days you’ll get to meet like-minded people. You also have the chance to tap into a business adviser, covering everything from business planning and marketing to sales, budgeting and tax. After the four days you will be provided with a mentor to support you as you plan and test your ideas. You will even have the opportunity to apply for a ‘will it work’ funding grant.

Development Awards (16-30)
Our Development Awards can cover the cost of course fees, tools or equipment up to £160 in order to help young people achieve their goals and move into education, training or employment. For more information, visit our website here.
